Offered are two vintage Maple Lumber Company hard wood Swatstick bats in used yet displayable condition. Each bat, manufactured in Downey's hometown of Urbana, Ohio, exhibits a flared handle and bottle-shaped barrel with moderate scratching and ball marks present. The bats are uncracked; one has a small chip missing from the knob while the other has two medium sized chips in the knob. The manufacturer’s labels are burned into the barrel of each bat with slight imperfections in one of the labels. All things considered, these are rare mid-American vintage baseball bats with plenty of flair. Each bat measures 34", with one weighing 34oz and the other 36oz.
