Graded PSA Authentic Canceled. Charles "Red" Ruffing began his long baseball career inauspiciously with the Boston Red Sox in 1924. By the middle of the 1930s, Boston decided to trade Ruffing, who at the time had a career mark of 34-96, to the New York Yankees. Over the next 15 seasons, Ruffing posted a 236-121 mark for the perennial AL Champion Yankees. The offered R300 features a diamond cancellation on the left center border and a single horizontal crease across the player's face. The Ruffing card is a seldom-seen Hall of Famer from a seldom-seen set.
