Description

Graded PSA Authentic Canceled. Little did Clark Griffith, owner of the Senators, realize in 1933 that he would be selling his son-in-law to Boston the following the next season, but the Depression was about to force the fiscally strapped Washington franchise to sell their only star, Joe Cronin. Exhibiting the diamond cancellation on the left-center area, the image of Cronin is undisturbed by the light creases surrounding him. There are few opportunities to obtain this scarce regional confectionery set and this presentation is that of a Hall of Fame player.
